ERC Starting Grant for VIB researcher Bert De Rybel

This grant, almost €1.5 million over 5 years, is one of the most prestigious grants for young researchers in the European Union. The objective of the ERC Starting Grant (European Research Council, founded by the European Commission) is designed to encourage young talented research leader to gain independence in Europe and to build their own careers.
